Our partnerships with organizations such as Amazement Square, Thomas Jefferson’s Poplar Forest, and the Anne Spencer House and Gardens provide our students with ample opportunities to make a difference to meaningful nonprofits, while also gaining real-world experience.
Our students intern throughout the region, and our community members serve on civic boards and other organizations. In addition, service is an important part of the overall liberal arts experience we provide our students.
It is so important, we include it as part of the Randolph Plan. We believe that by giving our students opportunities to make an impact throughout their four years at Randolph, they will come to understand the world’s problems by meeting those who face them daily. This will cultivate their sense of civic responsibility and give them experience in creating solutions to important problems.
Simply put, we don’t just talk about changing the world, we do it.
