Confidentiality

Counseling services are confidential with no information being released to College staff, family or others without the student’s written permission to do so, except where constrained by ethical and state legal parameters.

Counselors are not required to report honor code violations or reports of sexual misconduct.

Counseling Center records are stored in an electronic health record and kept separate from the student’s academic record.
